Well, I'm working on a plug-in for ZControl that is a datalogger, and that is mainly what this is targeting, but to answer your question, it is hex. You have to send the data in hex, and it responds in hex. You can poll the ECU for it's serial number, error codes, sensor data, multiple sensor streaming data, etc, etc. I am actually going to send this design out to get a small batch of PCB's made, but I wanted to test to make sure it worked before I did that. The goal is PCB kits that include the PCB and components for assembly for around $10-$20. It will look a lot nicer with a designed PCB too :-) The original clock that the consult port wants (153.6 KHZ) is really hard to get, so I was experimenting with a 2.4576 MHZ crystal and a binary counter to reduce the frequency to 153.6 KHZ. The 2.4576 MHZ crystal is really easy to get and cheap. Mike
